Working to bring in education funding from Trenton to help stabilize property taxes and ensure every child has access to a quality public education. SECURED NEARLY $60 MILLION IN ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR SCHOOLS.
Led the charge to get legislation passed that will help keep our streets and our children safe by regulating the sale of handgun ammunition and forcing ammunition purchasers to exhibit a valid ID, and prohibiting the gun industry from endangering the safety or health of the public through its sale, manufacturing, importing, or marketing of guns.
Worked to secure a child tax credit program that invests $18 million to provide families as much as $500 per child per month in financial support and pushed for ANCHOR program property tax relief for over 1.7 million people!

- Annette Quijano is a progressive champion, fighting to improve affordability, opportunity and justice for all for our communities since 2008.
- Spearheaded the passage of landmark legislation to expand paid family leave, equal pay for women, a $15 minimum wage, authored the nation’s strongest anti-wage theft law, increased funding to all 20th legislative district schools, strengthened protections for first responders, created a fund to protect religious non-profits from violence and threats.
- Organizes innovative programs that provide assistance to vulnerable members of our community including women and children survivors of violence, and feeding the hungry with her annual “Hunger Doesn’t Take a Vacation” sandwich drive. During the pandemic, she donated meals and PPE to frontline workers and the homeless.
